Oscar-winning actor Martin Landau, who starred in the TV series Mission: Impossible, died Saturday at the age of 89 due to “unexpected complications during a short hospitalization.” Landau is also famous for having turned down the role of Mr Spock in Star Trek: “A character without emotions would have driven me crazy; I would have had to be lobotomized.” TELEGRAPH
